MyBattery 2.1.1 contains support for the PowerBook 165, Duo 250 and Duo 270c, plus some enhancements to the estimating technique.
Previous versions of MyBattery could not properly recognize the CPU speeds of these new models. With version 2.1.1, I've implemented the CPU speed test using a different method, so it should be compatible with future PowerBooks.
Version 2.1.1 also has new default estimates for the longer-life batteries of the 250 and 270c. If you purchase one of the new "Type II" batteries for an older Duo model, which gives you a longer battery life than the original battery, MyBattery won't immediately be able to give you an accurate update, but it will "learn" about your new battery over several discharge cycles, and you should notice a difference in the estimates.
I'm diligently working on the next version. It will have better support for external battery packs like the Technöggin or VST products - I now have one, and I want MyBattery to work perfectly with it!
